The driver from the island of Jersey got the call up from the British team for Spa-Francorchamps but is hoping to do more MLMC races in the future.

“I tested the car at Silverstone back in April for the first time, and got really good feeling for everyone, the team, the car, everything. The amount of time I've done in GT3 is not huge, everything was GT2 the last time I did the Le Mans Series.

“The original plan after the test was to try and do Road to Le Mans, but I think it was literally two or three weeks before and we just couldn't get stuff sorted. The way that the Le Mans Cup weekend panned out, I think this is going to be far more beneficial.

“With my past here at Spa from World Series by Renault, Formula 3, ELMS and WEC as well, I think it was more natural. My brain kind of went to Spa more than anywhere else.

“So, this is my first weekend in the series. We ran on Tuesday, and everything ran faultlessly, the car was great, Andrew (Bentley) drove really well in terms of all the bronzes. I think we're looking really good with the way the tyre allocation works.

“The team are running the LMP3 and the GT3. I've worked with a few of the people from WEC, so it's nice to be reunited with them.”

“This is just a one off at the moment. I'm focused on trying to do something for 2025 and have a program planned early enough that I can work around it for next year.”
