43 Cars for Michelin Le Mans Cup Silverstone Debut

The Michelin Le Mans Cup will race at Silverstone for the first time in the history of the series, with 43 entries for the 110-minute race on the full Grand Prix circuit on Saturday 13 September.

The grid will consist of 19 entries in LMP3, 16 in LMP3 Pro/Am and 8 in GT3, with 86 drivers and 28 teams representing 22 different nations, with 10 British drivers, 2 British teams and 2 British manufacturers amongst the entries.

LMP3: R-ace GP Lead the Standings after Spa

The no85 R-ace GP Duqueine D09-Toyota leads the LMP3 championship standings after taking maximum points in Belgium last time out.Hugo Schwarze and Hadrien David have a 17-point lead over the two CLX Motorsport entries, with the no87 Ligier of Round 2 winners Alvise Rodella and Pierre-Alexandre Provost in second on 47-points, 2-points ahead of teammates and Round 1 winners David Droux and Cedric Oltramare in the no97 Ligier JS P325.

British team Nielsen Racing will once again field their two Adess AD25-Toyotas in the first full MLMC season for the Portuguese based manufacturer. The no7 Adess features an all-British driver crew with former champion Colin Noble being joined once again by Tom Fleming. Columbian Henry Cubides Olarte and Spanish/Danish driver Mikkel Kristensen.

British driver Theo Micouris secured his second podium finish in his debut MLMC season at Spa-Francorchamps last month, his first being at Le Mans in June. Micouris’ teammate will be Denmark’s Sebastian Gravlund in the no16 Team Virage Ligier. Team Virage is on 44-points after Spa, tied with the no92 Forestier Racing by VPS Ligier of French duo Luciano Morano and Charles Roussanne.

Road To Le Mans winners Léna Bühler and Mattéo Quintarelli are just one point behind Team Virage and Forestier Racing by VPS on 43-points in the no50 23Events Racing Ligier.

British manufacturer is racing in the Michelin Le Mans Cup for the first time this season, partnering with four-time MLMC champions DKR Engineering. The no3 Toyota powered Ginetta G61-LT-P325-EVO will be driven by Britain’s Freddie Tomlinson and his American teammate Wyatt Brichacek.

Inter Europol Competition has entered a car in the LMP3 category with an all American driver Gold-Silver rated crew of Nolan Siegel and Brady Golan.

The 19 strong LMP3 field is completed by a second entry for R-ace GP, Forestier Racing by VPS and Team Virage and single car entries for ANS Motorsport, High Class Racing, Reiter Engineering, Bretton Racing, CD Sport and Gebhardt Motorsport.

LMP3 Pro/Am: 16 Entries for Silverstone

Despite failing to finish for the first time in 2025, the no71 Rinaldi Racing Ligier-Toyota of Felipe Fernandez-Laser and Stefan Aust continues to lead the LMP3 Pro/Am standings. The Road To Le Mans class winners have a 4-point advantage over Spa-Francorchamps winners Eric De Doncker and Gillian Henrion in the no98 Motorsport98 Ligier with two races in the UK and Portugal remaining.

The LMP3 Pro/Am grid features six British drivers and one British team, P4 Racing.The no27 P4 Racing Ligier will see an unchanged all British driver crew of Louis Hamilton-Smith and Andrew Ferguson, who head to their home race after securing their first MLMC championship points in Belgium last month.

After many years of competing in the Michelin Le Mans Cup Terrence Woodward took his first pole position in Le Castellet in May. The British driver will join Australian James Winslow in the no23Events Racing Ligier for the race in Silverstone.

Czech team Bretton Racing also fields an all-British driver crew with Ben Stone and Haydn Chance looking for their first points finish of the season on home soil in the no62 Ligier-Toyota.

The final British driver on the LMP3 Pro/Am grid is Ewan Thomas, who will replace Fabien Lavergne in the no88 R-ace GP Duqueine and race alongside Romano Ricci, the French driver having already enjoyed standing on the podium at Le Mans in June.

The grid will also feature two father-son crews. Horst Felbermayr being joined by Horst Felix Felbermayr in the no77 Reiter Engineering Ligier and Max Van Der Snel Sr and Max Van Der Snel Jr will compete in the no99 More Motorsport Ligier-Toyota.

The LMP3 Pro/Am grid is completed by a second entry by Rinaldi Racing and entries by Racing Spirit of Léman, CD Sport, Team Virage, High Class Racing, GG Classics, M Racing and ANS Motorsport.

GT3: Ferrari 1-2-3 in Championship Standings

Defending GT3 champions AF Corse head the GT3 points table after four rounds but with the top four cars split by just 16 points and with 52 points still available from the races at Silverstone and Portimao, there is still all to play for.

After finishing second in Spa-Francorchamps in the no51 AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3, Alessandro Cozzi and Eliseo Dunno hold an 8-point lead over the two Kessel Racing Ferraris. Turkish driver Murat RuhiÇuhadaroglu and his Italian teammate David Cleto Fumanelli took their second win of the season to move up to second place in the standings on 60 points in the no33 Kessel Racing Ferrari, with the no17 Kessel Racing Ferrari of Lorenzo Innocenti and Andrea Belicchi in third on 55-points.

The winners of the race in Le Castellet, Philipp Sager and Rory Van Der Steur are lying in fourth place in the no11 Code Racing Developments Aston Martin Vantage GT3 EVO and will be hoping for a return to form on Aston Martin’s home track.

The no83 Iron Dames Porsche had better luck in Belgium with Spain’s Marta Garcia and Belgium’s Vanina Ickx taking their first podium finish of the season.

The GT3 grid is completed by the Team Motopark Mercedes-AMG, the Ebimotors Porsche 911 and the Biogas Motorsport Ferrari.
