After several seasons in karting and single seaters, winning a race in Spanish F4, podium finishes in the W Series and representing Spain in the F4 Cup at the FIA Motor Sport Games, Belén García Espinar decided to switch to Sports Cars in 2022, entering the final round of the Michelin Le Mans Cup in Portugal with Spanish team CD Sport.
The 23-year-old from L’Ametlla del Valles, a town just 15-minutes from the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, took part in three of the four Asian Le Mans Series races at the start of 2023, scoring top 10 finishes in each race and finishing 7th in the third round in Abu Dhabi. Belén is now embarking on a full Michelin Le Mans Cup season with British team 360 Racing, starting at her home circuit this weekend.
