The no92 Forestier Racing by VPS Ligier-Toyota was the fastest of the 42 cars taking part in Free Practice 1 for the second round of the 2025 Michelin Le Mans Cup at the Circuit Paul Ricard. Charles Roussanne posted the fastest lap with a 1m58.558, two tenths ahead of the rest of the field in the 60-minute session.
The no85 R-ace-GP Duqueine was second fastest with Hadrien David setting a 1m58.770, 0.022s ahead of the no87 CLX Motorsport Ligier of Luciano Rodella, with teammate and round 1 winner David Droux in the no97 CLX Motorsport Ligier fourth fastest with a 1m58.976.
The LMP3 Pro/Am category was headed by the no49 High Class Racing Ligier-Toyota, Anders Fjordbach posting a 1m59.147 which was good enough for 6thoverall and 0.185s ahead of Antoine Doquin in the no10 Racing Spirit of Leman Ligier and 0.275s ahead of the no64 M Racing of Pierre Kaffer.
The GT3 class was led by the no33 Kessel Racing Ferrari, with round 1 winner David Fumanelli leading the way with a 2m03.099 lap of the 5.821km circuit, 0.717s ahead of the no51 AF Corse Ferrari 296 of Eliseo Dunno
Marta Garcia was third fastest in the no83 Iron Dames Porsche, the Spanish drivers best lap of 2m04.147 just 0.080s ahead of the no10 Code Racing Development Aston Martin Vantage of Rory Van Der Steur.
FP2 will take place at 16h25 today.
