The first practice session of the season finale in Portimão saw the no85 R-ace GP Duqueine post the fastest time of the 60-minute session. Newly crowned LMP3 driver’s champion Hadrien David posted a 1m39.441 lap, 0.128s ahead of the chasing pack led by the no97 CLX Motorsport Ligier of 2024 champion David Droux.
The fastest LMP3 Pro/Am entrant was the no99 More Motorsport Ligier of father-son duo Max Van Der Snel, senior and junior, with Van Der Snel Junior posting the fastest lap of 1m39.748, which was good enough for third overall. The no49 High Class Racing Ligier was second fastest in the LMP3 Pro/Am class with Gael Julien setting a 1m39.781, just 0.033s behind Van Der Snel Jr.
The LMP3 Pro/Am championship leading no71 Rinaldi Racing Ligier was 4th fastest in the class, with Felipe Fernandez-Laser posting a 1m39.984, just 0.065s behind their championship rivals Motorsport98 in third place
The no33 Kessel Racing Ferrari was the fastest of the eight GT3 competitors, with championship contender David Fumanelli leading the way with a 1m43.529 lap, 0.070s ahead of the no83 Iron Dames Porsche of Marta Garcia. The championship leading no51 AF Corse Ferrari was 4that the end of the session, with Eliseo Donno setting a bets time of 1m43.730.
