Swiss driver David Droux is no stranger to challenging circumstances during his career and the last race at Spa-Francorchamps certainly was one the most challenging for himself and COOL Racing teammate Adrien Chila, but the team head to Mugello still at the top of the championship standings with two races remaining.
Adrien Chila was forced to take avoiding action in the first corner of the race in Belgium, dropping the French driver down to 25thin the opening lap. This began a long fight back up the order, with David Droux taking the chequered flag in 9thoverall and two championship points.
The only silver lining to a disappointing result was the fact that their nearest rivals in the championship also failed to score points and they currently hold an 8.5-point advantage at the top of the standings.
