The second and final Free Practice session for the Barcelona Round of the 2025 Michelin Le Mans Cup in Barcelona saw the no50 23Events Racing Ligier head the time sheets for the second time. Matteo Quintarelli posted a 1m38.265 lap, which was 0.196s ahead of his nearest rival but 2.1 seconds slower than the best in FP1 set by his teammate Léna Bühler.
The no64 M Racing Ligier was second quickest overall in the hands of Pierre Kaffer and fastest in LMP3 Pro/Am, finishing the 60-minute session with a. 1m38.461 lap, 0.512s ahead of Griffin Peebles in the no66 Rinaldi Racing Ligier.
The no87 CLX Motorsport Ligier of Alvise Rodella was second fastest in LMP3 with a 1m39.261 in sixth overall, with reigning champion David Droux finishing third in LMP3 in seventh overall in the no97 CLX Motorsport Ligier on a 1m39.277.
The no95 Ebimotors Porsche also completed the Free Practice double by heading the GT3 class in FP2.Sergiu Nicolae posting a 1m41.820 lap, which was nearly half a second slower than his FP1 best time.
The no65 Team Motopark Mercedes-AMG was second fastest with a 1m42.620 lap set by Lukas Dunner, the Austrian finishing the session 0.657s ahead of the no33 Kessel Racing Ferrari of David Fumanelli.
Qualifying for Round 1 of the 2025 MLMC in Barcelona will take place at 12h30 tomorrow afternoon starting with the GT3 category.
