The no77 Team Thor Ligier-Nissan and the no10 Racing Spirit of Leman Aston Martin Vantage set the fastest times in LMP3 and GT3 respectively in the final Free Practice session of the 2023 Michelin Le Mans Cup.
The 60-minute session saw championship contender Colin Noble post the fastest time of 1m38.864, 0.121s ahead of the no22 United Autosports Ligier driven by Scott Andrews.
The championship leading no16 Team Virage Ligier was just 0.015s behind the Andrews and 0.136s behind Noble, with Gillian Henrion posting a 1m39.000 lap time. The other championship contender, the no2 CD Sport Ligier, was 9th fastest, with Kirill Smal posting a 1m39.726, 0.862s slower than Noble’s best time.
The no48 Murphy Prototypes was the fastest Duqueine in 4th overall with a best lap of 1m39.554.
Valentin Hasse Clot set the fastest GT3 lap, posting a best time of 1m42.548 in the no10 Aston Martin Vantage. The French driver was 0.423s ahead of race winner Kei Cozzolino in the no51 AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3, with the Iron Lynx Lamborghini third quickest with a 1m43.343.
Qualifying for Round 6 in Portimão will take place at 15h10 this afternoon, with the final race of the season at 09h00 on Sunday morning.
