Round 4 of the 2020 Michelin Le Mans Cup is the jewel in the crown event, the Road to Le Mans on the full 13.6km La Sarthe circuit.

This is the event that all the competitors want to take part in and there are two 55-minute races, one on Friday afternoon and one on Saturday morning, just a few hours before the main event, the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

For the first time in its history Le Mans will be empty of spectators as the event will be held behind closed doors due to the Covid 19 Pandemic restrictions. However, race fans will experience the Road to Le Mans from the comfort of their favourite chair at home with plenty of opportunities to see the race live or watch the highlights again after the race weekend has finished.

Only Saturday’s race will be streamed live, and all the results and facts from qualifying and Race 1 will be available on the official website and social media. More channels will be hosting the race live: Eurosport International, Claro Sports in Mexico and pan Asian broadcaster BeIN Sports have been added to the growing TV schedule.


Live Coverage of Round 4

Fans of endurance racing all around the globe can also watch the race from Le Mans free and uninterrupted on the official website at www.lemanscup.com. You can also listen to the race on Radio Le Mans online.

The Saturday Road to Le Mans race will be available to viewers in Europe and the USA on MotorTrendonDemand. The race is also available in Europe on Motorsport.tv and on Eurosport.

In Croatia, the race is available on PlanetSport, while in France it is available on Eurosport and in Germany it will be shown on Motorvision. In Poland, the live is available on SportKlub, in Portugal on Sport TV, in Romania on Sport Extra and in Slovenia on PlanetSport. The entire 55-minute race will be live streamed on RCTI+ in Indonesia.

Catch the Highlights after the Race Weekend

The 30-minute highlights of the Road to Le Mans race will be available after the race weekend.

In Europe, Eleven Sports Network will be broadcasting the highlights in Belgium and Luxembourg, GarageTV in Spain and BT Sport in the UK.

Across Asia, Fox International Channels and, for the first time, BeIN Sports will be showing the highlights from the race, while there will be further opportunities to catch the action in individual countries.

In China, Star Sports will be once again covering the race, while Hong Kong Cable will be the channel in Hong Kong and Sony Ten will be showing the highlights package in India and Pakistan. Eleven Sports Network will be the place to catch the MLMC race in Myanmar. Malaysia will see the race highlights on the Astro channel and fans in the Philippines have the choice of iWant and Liga.

Across the African continent ESPN will be broadcasting the 30 minutes highlights of the race. In South Africa, Mnet Supersport is the channel of choice for fans of the Michelin Le Mans Cup, while Garage TV will be showing the highlights across Latin America. For the first time, Claro Sports will be showing the 30 minutes highlight to race fans in Mexico.

Race 2 of the Road to Le Mans will take place on Saturday 19 September, with live coverage beginning just before the race begins at 11h15 CET.
