Iron Dames have issued a short statement on the reason for the withdrawal of the no83 Porsche 911 GT3 R from the 10th edition of the Road To Le Mans.
The statement reads -
The Iron Dames entry for next week’s Road to Le Mans, with Vanina Ickx and Marta García, will not take part in the race.
This difficult decision saddens the whole team and follows a recent health issue for Vanina. On medical advice, she won’t be competing in Le Mans.
We’re pleased to share that she is doing well and is expected to return to racing very soon.

Everyone in the ELMS and MLMC team wishes Vanina a quick recovery and to see her back on track for her home race at Spa-Francorchamps on 22/23 August.
