The no12 Team Virage Ligier of Julien Falchero and ‘Steve Brooks’ topped the time sheets at the end of the first practice session of the Le Castellet 120 weekend.
The best time of 1m49.649 was set by Falchero early in the session, with the lap being three quarters of a second faster than the no23 United Autosports Ligier of Wayne Boyd, the British driver setting a 1m50.418 late just before the chequered flag was shown.
The no24 United Autosports Ligier of Andy Meyrick was third fastest with a 1m50.829, 0.053s ahead of the no98 Motorsport98 Ligier of Dino Lunardi.The no21 Mühlner Motorsport Duqueine was the fastest non Ligier in fifth place, Gilles Magnus setting a 1m51.034, 1.233s behind the lead car.
The no2 Pzoberer Zürichsee by TFT Porsche 911 GT3R was the quickest of the six GT3 entries, Julien Andlauer posting the best time of 1m55.132.The no50 Kessel Racing Ferrari was two hundredths of a second behind the Porsche with Oliver Hancock setting a 1m55.152 lap time, two tenths ahead of his teammate David Perel in the no74 Ferrari.
