MLMC Facts and Figures – Le Castellet

Le Castellet has been part of the Michelin Le Mans Cup since the first season in 2016 when it was just for GT3.  In 2020 the Circuit Paul Ricard hosted two races in the same season when the race in Barcelona had to be cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions.

  1. 2024 will be the tenth GT3 race for the Michelin Le Mans Cup at Le Castellet and the ninth for LMP3.
  2. Since 2016, Ferrari has won 4 times (2016 / 18 / 19 / 20), Lamborghini twice (2017 / 23), Porsche twice (2020 / 21) and Honda once (2022).
  3. In addition to the wins, Ferrari has scored a further 10 podium finishes, while Lamborghini, Porsche and Honda have each scored a podium finish. Aston Martin and Mercedes have both finished on the podium twice, while Audi has taken just one MLMC podium since 2016.
  4. A Ferrari has finished on the podium every year except 2017 and 2023. In 2018 and 2020 Ferrari scored a 1-2-3 podium lockout.
  5. Since 2017 Norma / Duqueine have won four times (Norma 2017 / 18 / 19 – Duqueine 2020) and Ligier four times (2020 / 21 /22 / 23).
  6. In addition to the victories, Norma have also taken two further podiums and Ligier 14 podium finishes. Duqueine have never finished elsewhere on the podium at Le Castellet.
  7. Ligier have scored a podium lockout for the past four visits to Le Castellet.
