In 2020 the Circuit Paul Ricard hosted two races in the same season when the race in Barcelona had to be cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions.
In a change from previous races, the chicane in the middle of the Mistral Straight will be used this year for the first time since 2017. The circuit length for the 2025 race at Le Castellet is 5.821km, an increase of 50m (up from 5.771km).
- 2025 will be the eleventh GT3 race for the Michelin Le Mans Cup at Le Castellet and the tenth for LMP3.
- Since 2016, Ferrari has won five times (2016 / 18 / 19 / 20 / 24), Lamborghini twice (2017 / 23), Porsche twice (2020 / 21) and Honda once (2022).
- In addition to the wins, Ferrari has scored a further 11 podium finishes, Aston Martin, Lamborghini and Mercedes 2 podiums each, Audi, Porsche and Honda each scored a podium finish.
- A Ferrari has finished on the podium every year except 2017 and 2023. In 2018 and 2020 Ferrari scored a 1-2-3 podium lockout.
- Since 2017 Norma / Duqueine have won four times (Norma 2017 / 18 / 19 – Duqueine 2020) and Ligier five times (2020 / 21 /22 / 23 / 24).
- In addition to the victories, Norma / Duqueine have also taken three further podiums and Ligier fifteen podium finishes.
