LMP3: Will DKR Engineering Continue Their Unbeaten Run?

2019 drivers champion Laurents Hörr and 2017 champion Jean Glorieux are on the edge of adding a second Michelin Le Mans Cup drivers title to their CV.The German-Belgian duo are currently 25 points ahead of the rest of the field in the no3 DKR Engineering Duqueine M30-D08 Nissan, with 26 points still on offer in Portimão.Just one point is needed on Saturday 31 October to secure the 2020 driver and team titles.

Edouard Cauhaupe and Nicolas Maulini in the no37 Cool Racing Ligier are currently occupying the Vice Champions position in the points table with 80 points. The Road to Le Mans winners are looking to add another victory to secure the second place and finish their successful season on a high note with a third win.

Matthias Kaiser and Rory Penttinen are currently in third place with 64.5 points after taking three podiums and a pole position so far this year. The no26 Graff Ligier has yet to finish in first place and Portugal could be the venue for the drivers from Lichtenstein and Finland.

GT3: Championship Decided, Who Will Win in Portugal?

The no8 Iron Lynx Ferrari 488 GT3 of Rino Mastronardi and Giacomo Piccini finished third in Monza, which gave the team an unassailable lead of 32 points ahead of the final race of the 2020 season. It also confirmed Mastronardi as the 2020 MLMC Drivers Champion, 15 points ahead of his Italian teammate, who missed Round 3 at Le Castellet and therefore cannot be champion.

However, with 91 points, Piccini can claim the Vice Champions title as he has a 17-point advantage over David Perel and Michael Broniszewski in the no74 Kessel Racing Ferrari.

Le Castellet and Monza race winners Nicolas Leutwiler and Julien Andlauer are out of the running for the Vice Champions position but the Franco-Swiss pairing will be going for their third win of the season in the no2 Pzoberer Zürichsee by TFT Porsche 911 GT3 R.

The final 2-hour race of the 2020 Michelin Le Mans Cup season will take place on Saturday 31 October, starting at 14h50 and will be preceded by qualifying at 10h55.
