The 2022 Road to Le Mans will be the 7th edition of the event that began in 2016, when a single 55-minute race was run in the first season of the Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup. It was the first and only time that LMP3 and GT3 would run together in the same race in 2016, but in 2017 LMP3 teams were invited to enter for the full season of the Michelin Le Mans Cup.

1. There have been 11 Road to Le Mans races, one in 2016 and two in each event from 2017 to 2021.

3. French drivers have taken the most wins, with nine (six LMP3 and three GT3), the UK is second with six (four LMP3 and 2 GT3), with Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and USA on three each.

5. Only two drivers have won the Road to Le Mans twice in different years. Jean Glorieux won in 2017 and again in 2020.Laurents Hörr won in 2019 and again in 2020 with Jean Glorieux. Glorieux and Hörr took their wins with DKR Engineering.
6. Four drivers have won two Road to Le Mans races at the same event.
7. In LMP3 Ligier has secured the most podium finishes with 18 podiums (5 x 1st/ 7 x 2nd/ 6 x 3rd). Norma has secured 10 podiums (3 x 1st /2 x 2nd /5 x 3rd) and Duqueine 4 podiums (2 x 1st/ 2 x 2nd)
8. Ferrari has won more times than another manufacturer in GT3 with six wins (18 podiums in total), Aston Martin and Lamborghini have taken two each (four podiums each in total) and Porsche win 1 win (2 podium finishes in total). McLaren and Mercedes have two podium finishes each.
9. There will be six former winners taking part in the 2022 Road to Le Mans
The 2022 Road To Le Mans will feature two 55-minute races on the full 13.6km La Sarthe Circuit with a full grid of 50 cars entered in this year’s event.Race one will be held on Thursday 9thJune, with the second on Saturday 11thJune just before the start of the 90thedition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
