Le Mans winner Max Mayer joins High Class Racing

High Class Racing is set for a return to the tenth season of the Michelin Le Mans Cup with a powerful mix of talent and experience. The Barcelona based Danish outfit will enter a pair of LMP3’s, featuring the new Toyota V35A twin turbo V6 engine in the updated Ligier JS P325 chassis.

Max Mayer (ESP, 19) has been newly signed to the team after a rookie season in the Le Mans Cup, which saw him secure a majestic win in the Road to Le Mans race at the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe. He will be partnered in car no. 20 by Philip Lindberg (DNK, 27), who has brushed off his form in the Prototype Winter Series, gaining valuable experience and two podium finishes in the LMP3.

“I have developed a lot during the winter season with lots of laps completed in the LMP3. I feel ready to fight along in the 2025 Le Mans Cup and looking forward to a strong partnership with Max Mayer”, says Philip Lindberg.

With the move up to the Michelin Le Mans Cup, Lindberg is continuing his efforts under the ACO-umbrella with a future target set for the iconic 24-hour race.

“Starting the 2025 with High Class Racing is an awesome feeling. Our initial tests in the new car have been really good, and I can’t wait to get underway with my second season in the Michelin Le Mans Cup and this amazing opportunity together with Philip”, says Max Mayer.

Fjordbach and Patterson debuts in LM P3 Pro/Am

HCR will enter the second car in the LM P3 Pro/Am class with long term partners Mark Patterson and Anders Fjordbach. The duo, who have multiple decades of combined experience in endurance racing, is looking to continue their success from the Asian Le Mans Series in the no. 49 entry.

“Mark did a fantastic job in Asia and sharing a car with him is just amazing. He brings not only a ton of joy to the team but actually to the whole paddock, while still keeping everything competitive and extremely professional”, says Anders Fjordbach.
