Valentin Hasse-Clot joins Stephen Patrick for the event, his first outing with the team since his debut with the squad and a sensational wet victory at the GT Winter Series season finale in Barcelona. The Aston Martin Racing Factory Driver takes over from French countryman Theo Nouet for the week of action at Le Mans.

While the 13.6-kilometre circuit is new to Stephen, 26-year-old Valentin competed in the Porsche Carrera Cup in 2017, finishing third, which bodes well for the two 55-minute races that make up the Road to Le Mans event.

Having secured fourth at the opening rounds of the championship at Paul Ricard, before following that strong result and an impressive second position last time out at Imola, the team head into the event with high expectations.

Practice gets underway on Tuesday 8 June, with qualifying and the first race on Thursday at 18:30 CET. The second race is Saturday 11 June at 11:20.

Valentin Hasse-Clot: “The Road to Le Mans will certainly be an emotional event for me as I grew up on this circuit with the French Academy, dreaming of one-day racing on this big circuit. My Le Mans teammate, Stephen Pattrick, continues to improve his pace, race after race and is now ready for such a circuit.

“As an Aston Martin Factory Driver, I could not dream of a better team in Bullitt Racing to tackle this challenge. Our target is clear, we will fight to win in Le Mans!”

Steffan Pattrick, Team Manager: “It’s been a great start to the season for us in Michelin Le Mans Cup and we’re excited to be heading to Le Mans and to compete at such a fantastic circuit. Theo and Pattrick have been great together at both Paul Ricard and Imola, and now we look forward to seeing Valentin in action in our #99 Aston Martin Vantage.

“We have no doubts that there will be plenty of strong competition in the two events, but we believe we have the ingredients all in place to ensure that we can be right up there battling with the best.”
