Former LMP3 champion John Farano finished 4th in the LMP2 category when the no8 Gear Racing Oreca crossed the finish line on Sunday 13 laps behind the winning no81 DragonSpeed Oreca Gibson and 2 laps behind the third placed no18 Era Motorsport Oreca.

Austria’s Klaus Bachler also finished just off the podium, with the no16 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R completing 764 laps in the GTD class, just one lap behind the winning Paul Miller Racing Lamborghini and on the same lap as the third placed no88 WRT Speedstar Audi Sport R8 LMS GT3.

It was a day of disappointment for Ross Gunn when the British driver crashed the no98 Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT3, forcing the car into retirement after completing 189 laps.
