2019 Renault F4 Danish Champion Malthe Jakobsen has been building a reputation as a future endurance star with impressive performances in the European Le Mans Series since 2020.
This year the 18-year-old Dane is racing with Cool Racing in LMP3 in both the Michelin Le Mans Cup and European Le Mans Series and in America racing in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship.
Jakobsen’s 2022 season has got off to a great start with a second-place finish at the Daytona 24 and a win at the 12 Hours of Sebring, which was followed by victory in Round 1 of the ELMS at the 4 Hours of Le Castellet alongside Maurice Smith and Michael Benham.
