The no63 Iron Lynx Lamborghini Huracan will start the 110-minute race at Le Castellet later today at the head of the 12 car GT3 field after Hiroshi Hamaguchi snatched the pole position on his last lap by just 0.081s from the no10 Racing Spirit of Leman Aston Martin Vantage of Arnold Robin.
Robin tried to fight back on his last flying lap, setting the best time of the session in sector 2, but the French driver crossed the line with a slower time than his previous best of 1m57.234.
Third place on the grid was claimed by the no19 Leipart Motorsport Lamborghini of Gabriel Rindone with a time of 1m57.489, three tenths ahead of championship leader Tim Creswick in the no86 HCR With CaffineSix Porsche 911.
