Here are the reactions of the polemen of Road To Le Mans 2021.
Laurents Hörr – n°3 DKR Engineering (LMP3 Pole position Race 1): “It feels good to be back on pole position as last year I could not make it. Honestly the car was amazing today and I have nothing to complain about. It was a great session today and I made a good lap. Obviously, we came here again with the goal to win but it won’t be easy. For sure the other teams are not sleeping so I’m excited and we aim for a win or at least a podium.
Since I have been here in 2018 Le Mans is my favourite track on the calendar. It is for me an outstanding place not just because of the history but also because it’s a track that I really enjoy.”
Moritz Kranz – n°21 Mühlner Motorsport (LMP3 Pole position Race 2): “I’m quite happy as we are P2 for the first race and P1 for the second one, so this is a really good result. It’s a bit of a pity that we could do only one flying lap because it’s so much fun driving here. For one flying lap my time my time was ok and I’m looking forward to the race. It’s my second time here at Le Mans and I love this track, especially last night in the dark it was a very special feeling but yes it’s always so much fun being here.”
Rory Pentinnen – n°8 Iron Lynx (GT3 Pole position Race 2): “It’s been two years that I have not been in a GT car so I’m really happy to take the pole position today. To be at Le Mans is for sure really special. It’s great to be with Iron Lynx, it’s a really good team, they gave us a perfect car and they know what they are doing, I just enjoy being here. Logan is super professional, super-fast so we have for sure a good line up and I’m looking forward to the races.”
