To celebrate the 10th birthday of the Michelin Le Mans Cup a special logo has been unveiled in the same week as the 10th edition of Road To Le Mans.
The Michelin Le Mans Cup was announced in a press conference at Estoril in 2015, with the series launching the following season for GT3 cars. LMP3 entries were allowed for the single Road To Le Mans event in June 2016 and the following season the Michelin Le Mans Cup became a two-class series for LMP3 and GT3. Since its creation, the series has continuously grown, reaching a maximum44-car season grid this season and delivering exciting racing throughout the years.
Two versions of the logo are available, adapted to different platforms and formats to ensure optimal readability of both the ‘10’ and the ‘Michelin Le Mans Cup’ logo.
The first use of the new logo is on the Michelin Totem at the end of the 24 Hours of Le Mans pitlane for the traditional Road To Le Mans group picture taken on Monday evening.
