In his racing career so far French driver Tom Dillmann has successfully raced singles seaters, GTs and Le Mans Prototypes, with championship titles in the 2016 Formula V8 3.5 and the 2010 German F3. Now the 33-year-old from the town of Mulhouse in France, close to the Swiss and German borders, can add his first Endurance title to his CV after a great season with teammate Alexander Mattschull and the Racing Spirit of Leman team.
The Franco-German duo have scored three wins from six races so far this season, including a win in the first Road to Le Mans race, followed by another podium finish on Saturday morning ahead of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.They clinched the title at Spa-Francorchamps last month with an unassailable gap of 34 points in front of their nearest challenger.
