2020 ELMS LMP3 Champion Wayne Boyd and his American teammate John Schauerman haven't had the best start to their fourth season together in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, with zero points from the first three races of the 2023 season.
However, Boyd scored a victory at Le Castellet in his championship winning season with United Autosports and in 2021 he shared the champagne on the MLMC podium with Schauerman after the pair finished third, so they both know how to gather some much needed points at the Circuit Paul Ricard.
After a good showing in the two test sessions on Thursday, where the no23 United Autosports Ligier was the third fastest car at the end of the day, the Anglo-American teammates are hopefully of getting a good result on Saturday in Round 3 of the 2023 Michelin Le Mans Cup.
